Hey there, it's Martha Fraser and welcome to this episode. Today we are asking the question how to know if you are all in your business or if you are big toe dipping. So what does that mean? So everybody knows what it means to be all in. Everybody knows what it means to be dipping your big toe in, but what does that actually look like? What does it feel like in your business? And how do you know which one you are currently doing? Now maybe you're all in on some projects. Maybe you're dipping your toe in other projects, or maybe your whole business, you're dipping your toe in and you're not fully all in. So how to know which one are you?
So I was thinking about this this morning and I put some notes down on what does that look and feel like. So let's go through each section and you can nod along if this sounds like you. And then let's talk about what you can do to change that. Okay, so if you're big toe dipping in your business, here is a few things that you might identify with.
So one, you don't show up properly. What does that mean? You don't show up properly. You show up sometimes in your business, but you don't show up all the time. Maybe it's how you're working in your business, how you're scheduling your work. Maybe it's how you're doing your marketing. It could be anything. It could be anything. So where in your business are you not showing up properly? Two, you're kind of putting yourself out there, but not really. So it's you're putting that toe in the water, you're just testing it out, but you're not really owning the stage. You are just peeping out from the side of the curtain as opposed to coming out and fully being on the stage. I don't have to over commit on anything. Does that sound familiar? So that's three. I don't have to commit on anything. So you're kind of connecting and committing, but you're not fully committing.
So you allow things to be loose in your business. It's so comfortable dipping my toe in, I get to stay the same, but sample going for it. Ooh, isn't that a good one? That's number four. Let's say that one again. It's so comfortable dipping my toe in. I get to stay the same, but sample going for it. If that resonates with you, put your hand up in the air wherever you are, okay? It's so comfortable dipping my toe in, I get to stay the same but sample going for it. So you're kind of tricking yourself into thinking, yeah, I'm really doing this. I'm really going for it. But really you are staying in that comfort zone. Okay, five. It's only sampling greatness.
Okay, that's kind of connected to four there. Okay, six. I'm afraid to let go of who I am, so I just dip my toe in. I'm afraid to let go of who I am, so I just dip my toe in. So maybe if you feel you go for it, that you're going to have to change. So dipping your toe in allows yourself to trick yourself into the safety of, I'm going for it, but I've got big safety net here so I can stay the same. So I think we all know that doesn't end well. Next one, what if I'm not enough to go all in? Does that sound familiar? What if I'm not enough to go all in next? I love the comfort of where I am. I love the comfort of where I am.
So where you are right now is you get to play at a level that you're very comfortable in. You get to show just enough, but not too much. You get to keep all your bad habits. You get to maybe be a bit invisible because you're not fully committing to put you and your business out there, and you get to hold on to your mindset and your current beliefs. Next one. But I also hate the pain of where I am. So I love the comfort of where I am, but I also hate the pain of where I'm so dipping your big toe in. Although it allows you to be in the comfort zone, it also keeps you in the pain zone. So what we want to help you do today is identify what's your pain zone? What are all the things that pain you because you're not really going for it. So what pains you? Maybe it's your income level, maybe it's your setting goals and not achieving them. Maybe it's wanting to go from it and holding yourself back. And so take a moment here, pause this podcast episode if you can, and just take a note, write out what are your pains of dipping your toe in and not going for it. Last one then is dipping my big toe in allows me to wing it so I don't have to fully commit.
Ooh, so are you winging it? Are you winging it in your business? Where in your business are you winging it? Where are you going all out? Where are you winging it? Again, take a moment to write it down. And then it's about This transcript was exported on Jan 30, 2024 - view latest version here. Hopefully some of those spoke to you and that you can see. And it's about awareness. It's about bringing stuff to the surface. And when we bring stuff to the surface, it's really about helping you become aware, identify it, write it out.
They say naming the problem is solving half the problem. And once you know the areas that you can work on, then it's just a matter of time of putting some work in place, getting some support, and going to your next level. Okay, so let's go to the next section. I'm loving this episode today. I hope you are too. And okay, so what does it mean to be all in your business? And maybe as I said earlier on, maybe you're all in some projects, but you haven't fully committed all in everything in your business. So all in means being organized, getting your sleep, minding your health, and being ready to rock every morning, every day means wearing this identity and really owning it. Okay, let's pause for a minute there. So those three there. So it depends on the way your brain works. Everybody works differently. Everybody is organized in different ways or unorganized in different ways. And being organized to one person might look very different to another person. So you do, you wire you to whatever way you want to be organized. Maybe you need someone to help you do that. So anything I'm listing out here doesn't mean you have to do it. You can outsource it, you can get support, you can get help.
So these first three is really, it's all about identity. How are you showing up for yourself? How are you showing up every day and really stepping into that new identity of owning it, owning your business, owning your own superpowers, and getting yourself ready every day to shine. And I'm not saying every day you have to shine, but showing up, showing up for yourself, showing up for your own self integrity. Okay, let's move on next. Being all in means having a clear message and not being afraid to say it out loud, having a clear plan ahead of time. So I guess that could mean for each day, for each week, for each month, for each year, you have a plan and you know what you're doing. That doesn't mean the plan is written in stone, but it means you have something that you can work on, you can tweak, you can carve as things change, but you are in control and what's happening, being all in gives me more time off as I'm so organized. So this is brilliant, right?
So let's look at the good size and the good benefits of being all in because there are plenty. And once we identify all of the greatness and the great things that you get from being all in, you are going to want to shift into that direction. Okay? So being all in gives me more time off as I am so organized. Imagine having more time off. Imagine having intentional days off in your calendar. I know definitely self-employed people sometimes forget to give themselves days off. Being all in gives me clarity as I have fully committed and I know what I'm doing, what I'm offering and who I'm offering it to. Being all in makes decisions easier for my clients as they know who I am and what I offer. Being all in helps me know I am worth it. I'm worth going for my dreams. Anyone getting goosebumps here as I'm reading these out? So these couple that we've just read through. So it gives you clarity, helps your clients and helps and gives you a sense of self-worth and going for your dreams. These are powerful.
Even just pausing for a minute to think about these, just I hope you feel the chills and the vibration shift within you and that you can almost see and touch this version of yourself. And maybe you're going all in now, but maybe there's even a new level of all in for you. It's like when people say stand on your toes and then reach up, everyone can always reach an inch higher. Okay, next one here is, being all in helps me know I'm worth it and I'm worth going for my dreams. Okay, we got that one already. Being all in, people who are all in are focused on their dreams daily, not their problems. Ooh, powerfully. Love that one, being all in. People who are all in have more conviction and confidence, and this comes through in your messaging and your clients can see it. Your vibe attracts your tribe. So being all in helps you raise your vibration, helps you raise your confidence, helps you raise your conviction, and helps you attract even more clients and customers being all in. Are people working This transcript was exported on Jan 30, 2024 - view latest version here. Podcast All In_ (Completed 01/30/24) Transcript by Rev.com Page 3 of 3 towards a vision? They are higher aligned. They have put time into thinking about who they are, what they want, what's their vision and where they're going. They have a plan. They are energetic towards their dreams. People who are all in have less fears because they have this plan. People who are all in, don't waste as much energy thinking about different things up and down, in and out. Emotional stuff that you worry about when you don't have a plan, when you're not working towards a plan. So that was the list. So we two lists there, big toe dipping and being all in.
