Hey, there it is, global Online Star Podcast. I'm your host, Martha Fraser, and in today's episode, we are talking about how to make 700 euro without working. So last week I had one of the global online star member calls, and, um, one of my members was celebrating selling her first online course. And, um, she made approximately, um, just over 700 euro. And, um, this was a DIY course, do it yourself. Um, and we celebrated on the call, and this is a service entrepreneur who, um, prior to working with me, you know, worked like a lot of service entrepreneurs, service based working one to one off sessions with clients and basically, you know, like a lot of service entrepreneurs working themselves to the ground, um, trying to fit in as many one-to-ones sessions as possible and just booking, booking clients in for the next session at the current session.
Um, bit of an admin nightmare, um, paperwork nightmare, and, um, not really having a proper hold or control on your business. So if you're a service entrepreneur and you're going, wow, how can I make 700 euro without actually working? Then I want to, this episode is for you, right? So I'm just going to pop open my calculator here. 700 euro, divide that by 60 euro, that's 11 clients, let's say 11, 12 clients roughly, right? If you were service based entrepreneur, and if you charge maybe 60 euro a session that is 12 clients, you would have to see to make that 700 euro. And, um, you know, I'm here to tell you that there's a new way of working, um, possibly one you may not have even thought about. And it is working online. It is packaging and selling your knowledge, and it is just learning to think in a different way, learning to work in a different way. So when I first started working for myself, I was that service entrepreneur I was charging per session. And, you know, it just, I was working and I really realized this is not working. This is not going to make me, um, money. This is, I'm going to be burnt out, which actually did happen. And, um, as someone who is working in the health sector, you know, being burnt out
Is not a good advertisement for your business. So I, my journey has brought me to where I am today, where, you know, I went down the, the road of learning, investing in myself, learning how to grow my business online, learning how to do it in a different way. And one of my very first things that I did was I decided, um, I'm, I'm not going to do this anymore. I'm not gonna do it in the same way anymore because my kids were young, I wanted to have time with my family. And I said, if I keep going the way I am, it's not gonna happen. I'm going to keep, um, you know, I'm going to be completely burnt out. So I decided to change things. I decided to create my first online course. I soap my first online course. I decided to become more visible on social media.
I'd be decided to become more known for who I am and what I do. And not only that, but over the years, um, I decided to package my knowledge. And if you are a service based entrepreneur, and if you are listening to this, and if you're thinking, oh my gosh, this is me. You know, I am spending my time trying to film my calendar with clients for the week, and then the other part of the time I'm spending on paperwork, and I am, you know, doing all this admin. And if you would like to work in a different way, if you're thinking, you know, I would like to earn more money but work less hours, then there is a way you can do this. Um, I am the founder of the program, global Online Stars. And in Global Online Stars. What I do is I help service based entrepreneurs build really strong foundations.
We look at your business model, first of all, and we look at how we can maximize that. Then we look at how we can help you create digital online programs, online courses, online products, um, so that you can sell your knowledge and make money while you're not working. Now, here's the thing. To create the online course, yes, of course you do have to work. And yes, you do have to manage and maintain it, but you are working less hours. And if let's say 10 people buy that course, you're not working with 10 clients. You, once you make the course, you are then selling it. Um, and the majority of that money is your profit after your expenses. So there is a whole new way of working that is available for you, but you either have to decide, um, I want to do things in a different way, or I'm just gonna stay the same. No, this isn't for me.
And you may think, oh my gosh, you know what? I'm not techy at all. I don't think I could do it. And here's the thing. Most of my clients who come into global online stars are also not techy, and we teach you how to do it either in a non-tech way or we teach you how to get help and support that you can afford. Um, when I started, I had a Facebook page and a PayPal link. That's all I had. And you know, you don't have to go crazy on the tech, but what you do have to have to learn is how to expand your business in a way that will help you grow your business and scale without you working more and with you working less. Um, and the other thing is, you know, you have to be willing to do this. Um, there's some people who come on board and I think, you know, um, their mentor, their coach is gonna do it for them.
