Helping Women Rise: Creating a New Way to Earn and Thrive
Dear Gorgeous Reader,
I have something very special for you today, I was sitting in my car yesterday on a frosty cold afternoon, lost in thought, when the clouds suddenly parted, and for five minutes, I was blinded by the sun. It was as if the universe wanted me to stop, breathe, and really listen. That’s when the message came flooding back again: Helping Women Rise.
This isn’t a new message for me. I’ve been hearing it for years, and I’ve been doing the work—step by step, day by day. My mission has always been to help women grow their businesses, shine as the bright stars they were born to be, and step into their full potential. I believe that when every woman rises—earning more, doing good, and embracing her power—the world changes. Empowered women create ripples of transformation.
But I’ve been asking myself: Am I doing enough to help women rise? If this resonates with you, let me share some lessons from my own journey—areas where I needed the most growth and guidance, and where you might find some inspiration for yourself, that you need most right now, that will help you to rise too.

Women Breaking Free From the Weight of History
Women carry the weight of thousands of years of systemic oppression, cultural conditioning, and societal expectations. It’s no wonder that as we rise, we also have a lot of deep-seated “stuff” to let go of—beliefs, fears, and limitations that aren’t even ours but have been handed down through generations.
For centuries, women were told to stay small, to shrink their voices, and to prioritize others over themselves. These narratives run deep. Even today, many women find themselves hesitating to take up space, ask for what they’re worth, or fully own their brilliance—not because they lack the ability, but because they’ve been conditioned to doubt their own power.
We’re not just unlearning our own personal fears—we’re breaking free from generations of oppression. This process is messy, emotional, and liberating. It’s about giving ourselves permission to step into roles we were once told weren’t for us: leaders, creators, innovators, and trailblazers. Are you ready to rise?
“Your past does not define your future. You are rewriting history every day.”
We are not just doing it for ourselves but for the generation of women to come.
Earning Income Online: A Different Income Path for Women
I still remember the exact moment I earned my first €480 in September 2013. Forty people said “yes” to paying €12 for my online course. It might not sound like much, but to me, it was everything. After over a year of figuring things out, juggling life with a toddler while my husband worked in the UK, it felt like I had unlocked a door—a path to freedom.
That €480 wasn’t just income; it was proof that I could create something on my own terms, something that worked for me and my family. It freed me from the looming idea of going back to corporate life, especially after being made redundant when I was seven months pregnant in 2010.
It was the beginning of a journey where I discovered the power of online income—the ability to work in a way that fits your life, not the other way around.
Earning income online is a game-changer for women, offering freedom, flexibility, and the chance to design a life that works for us—not against us. It’s about stepping outside the traditional 9-to-5 box or creating a side income or business opportunities that align with our values, priorities, and goals. Whether you’re building a business, freelancing, teaching, or selling products or services, the online world has opened up endless possibilities for women to thrive.
Why Online Income is Empowering
- Flexibility to Live Life Your Way
Imagine working from anywhere, setting your own hours, and creating a schedule that fits your life. Online income gives you the freedom to prioritize what matters most—whether that’s family, travel, or self-care—without sacrificing your ability to earn. -
Breaking Barriers
The internet removes many of the traditional barriers women have faced in the workplace. You don’t need to relocate, adhere to rigid office schedules, or climb a corporate ladder built by someone else. Online, you create your own path. -
Limitless Earning Potential
Unlike traditional jobs with fixed salaries, online ventures often have no income cap. You can scale your work, diversify your streams of income, and grow at your own pace. -
Creativity Meets Opportunity
The online world allows you to turn your passions and skills into profitable ventures. Love writing? Start a blog or freelance. Have expertise in a field? Teach courses or offer coaching. Enjoy creating? Sell art, crafts, or digital products. The possibilities are endless. -
Access to a Global Market
Online work connects you with clients, customers, and collaborators from all over the world. Your reach is no longer limited by geography, which means your impact—and income—can grow exponentially.
Popular Ways Women Are Earning Online
- Freelancing: Writing, graphic design, social media management, virtual assistance, and more.
- Coaching & Consulting: Sharing expertise in fields like business, wellness, parenting, or personal growth.
- E-commerce: Selling products, whether physical (like handmade goods) or digital (like courses, templates, or ebooks).
- Content Creation: Monetizing blogs, YouTube channels, podcasts, or social media through ads, sponsorships, or affiliate marketing.
- Teaching: Offering virtual classes, webinars, or tutoring sessions.
- Investing & Passive Income: Earning through stocks, real estate, or creating passive streams like printables or digital downloads.

Earning Online and Living Your Vision
When you earn income online, you step into a role of empowerment. You’re not just working—you’re designing a lifestyle. You’re choosing how to show up, when to work, and what kind of impact you want to make.
The online world gives us the tools to build something meaningful, whether that’s creating financial independence, pursuing a passion, or having the flexibility to be there for our families. It’s not just a new way to work—it’s a new way to live.
So, what’s your vision for earning online? Let’s make it happen! 💻✨
Success Mindset and Self-Belief: Your Superpower
Believing in yourself is the foundation for everything. For years, I didn’t realize I had the power to change my mindset—to challenge the stories I’d been telling myself about what was possible. We all face resistance. It’s like standing before a mountain with a flat path beside it. When we doubt ourselves, we choose the mountain. We struggle against our fears, climbing slowly, questioning every step. But when we believe in ourselves, we choose the flat, clear path.
How do we build that belief? It’s not a magic pill or a secret formula—it’s daily work. Every morning, take just a few moments to imagine the person you want to be today. How does she feel? What actions does she take? Then, take those actions. Success isn’t about being perfect; it’s about showing up and moving forward. Every step builds confidence, and that confidence helps you walk the path ahead. When you shift your focus from fear to possibility, from "What if I fail?" to "What if I thrive?" you unlock the confidence to keep moving forward. Your mindset is your superpower—use it!
Money Blocks: Breaking Free to Thrive
I didn’t even realize I had money blocks until I started working with Denise Duffield-Thomas, who helped me see how these invisible beliefs were holding me back. Maybe you’ve felt this too—hesitating to raise your rates, over-delivering because you’re afraid of losing clients, or feeling guilty about spending money on yourself.
Money blocks are sneaky. They hide in the stories we’ve inherited—like “Money is hard to earn,” or “I’m not the kind of person who makes a lot of money.” These beliefs can quietly limit our potential, keeping us stuck in patterns of scarcity. Women have 1000’s of years of oppression that we are still coming out of , we have a lot of shit to let go of!
But here’s the truth: You deserve abundance. You deserve to be paid well for your talents. Money flows to you when you provide value and believe you’re worthy of receiving it.
To break free, start by identifying those limiting beliefs. Where did they come from? Are they true? Then reframe them. For example, “Money is hard to earn” becomes “Money flows to me when I provide value.” As you shift your mindset, you’ll find yourself more confident, more open to growth, taking action, ready to thrive and receive. When you address these blocks, you’ll find yourself more confident in your ability to grow your income, enjoy financial stability, and create the freedom you deserve.
Let’s let go of the baggage that says women shouldn’t thrive financially. We’ve carried it long enough.
Community Building:The Heart of Growth, What’s Your Mission and Message?
Building a community is one of the most rewarding parts of growing a business—and one of the most meaningful. It’s not just about numbers or followers; it’s about creating real connections and shared purpose. At the heart of every thriving community is a mission and a message. So, let’s get real for a second: What’s your big “why”? What inspires you to show up every day and do the work? Your mission is the soul of your community, and your message is how you share it with the world.
But let’s not sugarcoat it—building a community takes energy and courage. It’s about showing up, even when you feel vulnerable, and creating a space where people feel seen and valued. It’s not just about you—it’s about the people you’re serving and the stories you’re sharing to inspire them. Who are you here to serve? What impact do you want to make?Your community grows when you lead with authenticity, curiosity, and heart.
I know this because I’ve lived it. When I first started, I was a natural community builder—I just wanted to help people. But life happens. When heavy things came my way, I didn’t even realize it at first, but I energetically stepped back. It took time and healing for me to return to the place where I had the capacity to grow, help, and serve again. And that’s okay. Community building isn’t about being perfect or always having it together; it’s about being human, showing up as you are, and letting your mission guide the way.
The beauty of building a community is that it’s a journey, not a destination. It’s about inviting others to join you, celebrating wins—big or small—and creating a space where transformation begins. Your community becomes more than just a group of people—it becomes a movement. A movement fueled by shared purpose, connection, and a whole lot of heart. So, what’s your mission? Let’s build something extraordinary, one connection at a time. ❤️

Women Creating a New Way To Earn and Live
I believe it’s time for women to redefine what it means to work, earn, and live. When I left college, like so many, I stepped straight into corporate life. With no thought of a family back then, the Monday-to-Friday, 8:30–5:30 grind sounded fine—even great. But looking back, I realize… who designed this system?
It wasn’t women. It was a structure created by men, for men, at a time when they went to work while women stayed home to run the house, care for the kids, and keep everything else afloat. That system wasn’t built with women’s lives, needs, or aspirations in mind.
So here’s the big question: What if women designed a way to work and succeed? If we had a blank canvas, what would it look like? I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with corporate life—if that works for you, go for it! But let’s dream for a minute. What if we created a new way to earn income and live a life that feels good to us?
Yes, the corporate world has adapted over the years—offering maternity leave, paternity leave, and remote work—but it’s still built on an outdated foundation. What if we weren’t just making tweaks to an old system but starting fresh? What would your ideal way to work look like? How would it fit into your life, your family, and your dreams?
Imagine a way of working that celebrates flexibility, creativity, and impact—a model that prioritizes balance and empowers us to design our days on our own terms. What could that look like for you? Because it’s time to start building it, together.
Online Business Strategy: Freedom, Impact, and Empowerment
A strong online business strategy is your ticket to freedom. It allows you to grow a business that fits your life—not the other way around. For women especially, this is powerful.
It means having the flexibility to work on your own terms, earn what you deserve, and still have time for the people and things you love.
But it’s not just about personal freedom—it’s about creating a ripple effect. As your business grows, you have the power to impact more lives, support your family, and give back to causes you care about. A clear strategy helps you align your goals with your values, creating a business that not only thrives but empowers you to live the life you’ve always dreamed of.
So the most basic online information business strategy is taking your knowledge and helping someone in a 1:1 service, next in groups, next in online courses and digital products, this is where you get to scale what you do! Bringing your mission and message to life, helping people and growing your income. Growing your online business get’s easier when you have processed more of the steps above, nothing holds you back instead you are propelled by your vision and mission.
Focus on Serving: Overcoming Fear
When we focus on the people we’re here to help, something shifts. Our fears—of failure, rejection, or judgment—fade into the background. Instead, we’re driven by service, by the desire to uplift and grow others. The more we serve, the more confidence we build, and the more aligned we become with our purpose. Action leads to clarity, clarity leads to momentum, and momentum leads to success.
Trying Versus Doing: Show Up Fully
Here’s a truth I’ve learned: there are four phases of success or types of people.
- Dream Success – These are the people who want to succeed, but it’s all still just a dream. They haven’t taken any steps yet—it’s more of a “someday” idea in their mind.
- Think Success – These are the people who’ve moved from dreaming to thinking. They’re imagining what success could look like and maybe even planning it out in their heads. But they haven’t quite started taking real action yet.
- Try Success – These are the people who feel like they’re making progress because they’re “trying,” but they’re not really doing the work that leads to success. It’s like dipping your toes in the water but never jumping in. Trying is a start—it’s some effort—but it’s not the full energy needed to truly succeed. To level up, they need to turn their trying into doing, putting in consistent, focused effort. The magic happens when they stop “testing the waters” and start diving in with both feet! 💪✨
- Do Success – These are the people who don’t just think about success—they take action and go for it. Whether they succeed, stumble, or get 70-80% of the way there, the key is that they’re putting in the full effort. They’re in the game, learning, growing, and giving it their all. It’s not about perfection; it’s about showing up and doing the work that moves them forward. 🚀💪
Dreaming, thinking, trying are great starting points, but the magic happens when you do! ✨
Who do you want to be?
“Trying” is such a dangerous word. It makes us feel like we’re making progress when we’re really just spinning our wheels. When you’re fully showing up—really doing the work—what does that look like? What does it feel like?
When we focus on action and serve with heart, we move from trying to doing. That’s when the magic happens. We stop obsessing over our fears or perfectionism, and we start creating. And with each step, we become more confident and aligned with our purpose.
Several factors can hold people back or keep them stuck in the Dream, Think, or Try states, preventing them from moving into full Do mode. Here are some common reasons:
- Fear of Failure
- What it looks like: “What if I fail? What if I’m not good enough?”
- Why it holds them back: Fear of making mistakes or being judged can keep people dreaming, thinking, or trying without fully committing. They may feel it’s safer to stay in the comfort zone than to risk failing.
- Lack of Clarity
- What it looks like: “I don’t know where to start,” or “I’m not sure what I want.”
- Why it holds them back: Without clear goals or a vision of what success looks like, people can get stuck in endless dreaming or overthinking. They’re unsure how to take the first step, so they take none.
- Perfectionism
- What it looks like: “I have to get it right before I start.”
- Why it holds them back: The need to have everything perfect can paralyze action. These people stay in the planning or trying phase, tweaking endlessly instead of doing.
- Self-Doubt
- What it looks like: “Who am I to think I can do this?”
- Why it holds them back: A lack of self-belief can make people hesitate to take action. They may dream big or think about success but feel they’re not capable or deserving.
- Procrastination
- What it looks like: “I’ll start tomorrow,” or “Now’s not the right time.”
- Why it holds them back: Putting off action, often out of fear or overwhelm, keeps people in dream or think mode. They convince themselves they’ll act later, but “later” never comes.
- Fear of Success
- What it looks like: “What if I succeed and can’t handle it?”
- Why it holds them back: Success can feel as intimidating as failure. People may worry about the responsibilities, changes, or expectations that come with achieving their goals.
- Overwhelm
- What it looks like: “There’s just too much to do.”
- Why it holds them back: The sheer size of their goals can make people freeze. Instead of breaking it into manageable steps, they stay stuck thinking or trying, feeling like they can’t handle it all.
- Lack of Support
- What it looks like: “I feel alone in this.”
- Why it holds them back: Without encouragement, mentorship, or a community to lean on, it can be hard to move beyond dreaming or trying. Support helps build confidence and accountability.
- Misunderstanding “Effort”
- What it looks like: “I’m trying, isn’t that enough?”
- Why it holds them back: People may confuse effort with meaningful action. They stay in the “try” phase, putting in some work but not the focused, consistent effort needed to create results.
- Unresolved Money Blocks
- What it looks like: “Money is hard to earn,” or “I don’t deserve wealth.”
- Why it holds them back: Limiting beliefs about money can keep people from taking action. They may subconsciously sabotage their own efforts or hesitate to fully commit.
The Key to Moving Forward
To break free from these states, it’s about:
- Clarity: Getting clear on what you want and why it matters.
- Action: Starting small and committing to consistent steps.
- Mindset: Challenging limiting beliefs and replacing them with empowering ones.
- Support: Surrounding yourself with people who uplift and inspire you.
- Focus on Service: Shifting from fear to purpose—focusing on the people you want to help, rather than your own worries.
Taking that first step and moving beyond fear is where the transformation begins. 💪✨
